This love, this
wide-angled panoramic,
even the peripheral can’t hold it all.
This love,
so much bigger than mere love,
such a miniscule word
can’t contain the all of it.
This love,
far wider than personality,
In love,
with the love and the
all living beings.
This love.
This infinity.
This unending sea.
Until…
An email,
An attempted dominance.
Another disappointment.
Then…
Expansiveness
turns in upon itself,
collapsing.
Each singular,
soft grain falling
inward.
And
those following
gaining momentum,
speeding faster and faster into the
Big Black Hole of
an eternity of solitude
housed in hours.
This emptiness.
This aloneness.
Internal,
contained and
unboundaried in its
wide-angled panoramic.
I breathe in
the broken space of its
aftermath.
And with ragged breath I
chant a howl of gratitude
for the Black,
the Light,
the expansiveness that roots both sides.
This love, this
wide-angled panoramic
even the peripheral can’t hold it all .
