Join me here in the abyss – in the fecund depth of knowingness,
The deep blue-green of the great void
where words fall into and are lost forever.
You assess my state of being.
Assess my perceived assessment, as though you knew my motives.
You take your judgments for indelible truth,
forgetting that your vision,
and your filter,
are different than mine.
And it is this perception of knowingness that I must hold my own against.
not the fight you say I’m looking for,
only standing solid in
refusal of a superiority that is accustomed to
entering without asking.
And there is a correlation here between anatomy and intimacy.
You act, you penetrate, you move into.
I welcome, I yield, I open the center of my body
How can it not be a more intimate process for me?
What binds me binds me harder.
The vulnerability I enter by the very nature of my anatomy
is not the same as yours;
the risk is different because the bonding is different.
And you cannot ever fully understand it
no matter how many books you read.
Drop the assumptions.
Drop the belief that you can touch the essence of my truth
without my confirmation.
If you want my truth,
Ask me.
Give up the black and white,
the yes and no,
the need to cogitate and evaluate,
the ego that assumes it knows the truth of my experience.
And come with me
Into the abyss
Where words have no sound, no meaning
And there is only us,
here
In the deep cavern of God.
