Executive coaching for founders and entrepreneurs
Not to make you more effective. To make you more whole.
You crossed the thresholds you set for yourself. This one you didn’t entirely choose.
This is executive coaching for founders and entrepreneurs who already won the game they set out to win. It is also for the ones still climbing, who have started to suspect that the next win is going to land exactly the way the last one did. Either way, you don’t need another framework. You need the part of your life that got left out of the plan.
Nobody here is going to suggest you sell the company, move off grid, or learn to want less. What I’ll ask is that you stop paying for your success with the one thing you can’t buy back.
Something changed. Or nothing did.
Sometimes it arrives as an event. A divorce. The last kid gone, and the house strange without them, and the marriage stranger still. Burnout that sleeping doesn’t touch. The joy going out of the thing you built, with no reason you can point to.
Sometimes nothing has happened at all, and that is exactly the problem. A pattern you have carried so long you stopped seeing it as a pattern has become the ceiling on everything.
One person I work with avoids conflict. They always have. It kept the peace in a house where peace was scarce, and it worked. Thirty years on, the hard conversation never happens, so it compounds, and they pay for it in a company they can’t get fully honest with.
Another is linear, precise, exceptional at what he does. His team can’t feel him behind them. They would follow him anywhere if they could, and they are leaving instead.
A third has been proving she deserved her seat since she was twenty two. The proving worked. It also never turned off. It has cost her one marriage already, and her kids have learned to book her.
None of that is a skills gap. None of it gets fixed with a framework. Each one began as a smart strategy, a way of staying safe or staying in the game, and each has long outlived the job it was made for. Finding those strategies, and freeing what lies underneath them, draws on more than forty years of integrated training and of sitting with people at the hardest turns of their lives. That gives me many doorways to look through. Most coaching has one.
There is one more way it shows up, and it has no problem attached. Sometimes nothing is wrong at all. You are being called. You have been for a while, and you are not quite sure what the calling is calling for. Listening for what it asks of you is part of this work, and a good place to begin.
A different kind of success
Everything out of balance spoils.
Somewhere along the way, the culture sold you a lie: that more effective is the same as more alive. It isn’t. Effective is not joyful. Productive is not peaceful. A bigger number is not a deeper life. That’s success measured on capitalism’s terms, at any cost, and the cost it exacts is your soul. Your wholeness is far too high a price to pay for more of what you already have.
Because you’ve already mastered accomplishment. You’ve proven you can build, win, acquire. You don’t need more of that. What’s calling you now is a different kind of success: one measured in aliveness, meaning, wholeness, joy, and connection to something larger than your own ambition. That mountain you haven’t climbed. That’s the one I walk you up.
Depth, with a clinician behind it
Most coaches hold only a certification. I hold a master’s in somatic psychotherapy with decades of clinical practice behind it: Internal Family Systems, Hakomi, psychotherapeutic touch, trauma, the whole apparatus. Others come to me to learn it.
I also work with ritual, neoshamanic journeying, and the expanded states of consciousness opened by medicine work and embodied spiritual practice. I teach other practitioners this work as well.
What that combination buys you is precision. I can tell you why the part of you that can’t stop working is throttling your judgment. Why grief you never sat down with is showing up in a challenging quarter. Why the founder who can’t delegate isn’t disorganized, but is working from a protective part of the psyche that once had an excellent reason for the job.
Your success came from seeing more than the people around you: the whole landscape and the small details that make it up, held at once. That wide sight is how you innovate. It is also how I work.
I look through three doorways with every client. The practical one: your team and the decisions on your desk this week. The psychological one: the parts of you making those decisions, and what they are protecting. And the mystical one, which most executives never think to ask for: meaning, purpose, the larger story your life belongs to, what your ancestors and your dreams have been trying to tell you. Each door shows you something the other two cannot. Open all three, and the change holds.
