Growing Taller
than New York’s Empire
Getting Bigger
than Mt. Kilimanjaro
I am a boundless wind
moving ‘cross the continent
Getting BIGGER
I am one.
The Sun, He teaches me laughter
The Moon, She teaches me pleasure
and The Trees instill the serenity
of just being.
Mother Earth,
I’m as big as you now.
Mother Earth,
I am She.
Growing Stronger
than Arnold Schwarzenegger
I am Big and Proud
chest puffed-out.
Today I am any natural disaster.
The Ocean, He teaches necessary violence
The Stars teach me silence
The Earth imbues the dignity
of simply being.
The Sun, He teaches me laughter
The Moon, She teaches me pleasure
and The Trees instill the serenity
of just being.
Mother Earth, I’m as big as you now.
Mother Earth,
I’m Getting Bigger than you Are.
