Interweaving Journeys
Effective date: August 11, 2026
At Interweaving Journeys (“Interweaving Journeys,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), your trust matters. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect when you visit interweavingjourneys.com (or sabrinasantaclara.com), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Interweaving Journeys is the spiritual counseling, wholeness coaching, Integration guiding, soul-companioning practice and psychotherapeutic education practice of Sabrina Santa Clara, based in Longmont, Colorado, USA.
We keep our data practices simple and minimal: we only gather what we need to respond to you, provide our services, and, if you ask us to, stay in touch. We do not sell your personal information.
The information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you reach out or work with us, you may share personal information with us, including:
- Contact and inquiry details — such as your name, email address, and phone number when you fill out a form or email us.
- Information you choose to share — anything you tell us in a message, intake or inquiry form, or conversation about what brings you to this work. Some of this can be personal or sensitive; we treat it as confidential and use it only to respond to and support you.
- Mailing list details — if you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address (and any name you provide) so we can send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects a small amount of technical information automatically when you visit:
- Basic log and device data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, recorded by our web host for security and to keep the site running properly.
- Cookies — small files that support core site functions (see the “Cookies” section below). We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Payments and orders
When you book a session, program, or other offering, or purchase anything through our website, we and our payment providers collect the information needed to process your order — such as your name, billing contact details, and the items purchased. Payments are handled securely by our payment processors, WooPayments and PayPal. Your full card or bank details are entered directly with the processor and are not stored by us; each processor handles your information under its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
- Provide, schedule, and deliver our services;
- Send you the newsletter or updates you have asked to receive;
- Keep the website secure, functioning, and improving; and
- Meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Legal bases for processing (EU / EEA / UK visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Your consent — for example, when you opt in to our mailing list (you can withdraw consent at any time);
- Steps taken at your request — to respond to an inquiry or provide a service you have asked for;
- Our legitimate interests — such as keeping the site secure and running the practice, so long as those interests do not override your rights; and
- Legal obligations — where we are required to keep certain records.
How we share your information
We share personal information only in limited, necessary ways:
- Trusted service providers — companies that help us operate the site and practice (for example, our website host and our email/newsletter provider). They may only use your information to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
The services we rely on
The main third parties that may process some of your information on our behalf include:
- Bluehost — our website hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs.
- Mailchimp — our email/newsletter provider, if you subscribe to our mailing list.
- Our email and secure-messaging tools — used to correspond with you. For sensitive conversations we may offer Signal, an encrypted messaging app, as a more private option.
- WooPayments and PayPal — our payment processors, which handle purchases and bookings.
Each of these providers maintains its own privacy practices. This list may change as our tools evolve; we will keep this policy current.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here — to respond to you, provide services, and meet legal or record-keeping requirements — and then delete or anonymize it. If you are on our mailing list, we keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Your privacy rights
No matter where you live, you can always contact us to ask what information we hold, request corrections, ask us to delete it, or opt out of our mailing list.
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure (“right to be forgotten”); restrict or object to certain processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident (CCPA / CPRA)
You have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; request access to or deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing for you to opt out of in that respect.
How to exercise your rights
To make any of these requests — or if you have questions about your privacy — email us. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Cookies
Our site uses essential and functional cookies that help pages load and function correctly, including the cart and checkout cookies that make purchases and bookings work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when they are used, though some parts of the site may not work as smoothly if you do.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure — for anything especially sensitive, we are glad to use a more private channel such as encrypted messaging.
Children’s privacy
This website and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site may link to other sites — including Soul Medicine Sanctuary and third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practice or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated version here.
