Most book clubs gather to discuss ideas. SEASONED is different.
This is a guided process of deepening. The book is not content to analyze — it is a living text we allow to work on us. We read between gatherings, and when we come together, we enter the material through embodied inquiry, reflective dialogue, and relational presence. This is not about debate or intellectual critique. It is about integration.
Each gathering weaves:
- Reflective dialogue rooted in lived experience
- Gentle somatic inquiry and embodied practice
- Neoshamanic IFS exploration
- Creative integration (journaling, image, personal myth)
- Simple but meaningful practices between sessions
Over four gatherings, the material moves from concept into lived experience. The circle itself becomes part of the transformation — a place where aging is honored as initiation and eldering is practiced consciously.
SEASONED is held in a circle of women (of all gender histories). Eldering is not something we automatically grow into with time — it is a slow ripening that asks intention, courage, and community.
Series One — Come of Age: The Case for Elderhood in a Time of Trouble by Stephen Jenkinson.
