What does it mean to be an elder in a culture that has forgotten how to honor its elders? In a society where aging often brings invisibility—especially for those whose identities or experiences fall outside traditional norms—many of us enter the later seasons of life wondering how to embody our wisdom and vitality. Though our bodies may show the marks of time, our spirits are deeply seasoned, rich with insight and gifts still waiting to be shared.
The Path of Invitation is the first step in the Elders Emerging journey—a space to slow down, reflect, and reclaim the sacred meaning of elderhood. Together we’ll explore what must be released, forgiven, reconciled, and reclaimed as we step more fully into who we’re meant to be. Through Authentic Relating, Neoshamanic Internal Family Systems, embodiment, mindfulness, creative expression, and nature-based ritual, we’ll cultivate grace, authenticity, and embodied wisdom in community.
In these uncertain times, the world needs its elders—wise, grounded hearts who can hold compassion, truth, and perspective for the generations to come. This is not about growing old; it’s about growing whole.
This series meets for 6 weeks on alternate Fridays from April 17th through June 26th from 1-3 pm Mountain Time.
