Unleash Your Inner Power: A Path to Transformation
Dear Fellow Human,
Chances are you’re here because you feel that primal pull—a deep calling to break free from the constraints of your life and tap into something greater. Maybe you’re tired of living on autopilot, of feeling like you’re just going through the motions. Perhaps there is an emotional pattern holding you back. I’m Matt Colaciello, and I’m here to help you heed that call, to help you stay on track as you walk your path to freedom.
My personal journey has taken me across cultures and continents, from spending many years in Buddhist monasteries in India to learning from indigenous elders in West Africa and Indonesia. I’ve also worked in the non-profit and corporate sectors, where I gained insights into the complexities of human behavior, leadership, and the impact of societal structures on personal growth. Along the way, I’ve learned that true transformation isn’t just about changing your external life—it’s about rewriting the rules of what’s possible within. I’m here to guide you as you chart your own course, one that’s uniquely yours and unapologetically bold.
Everyone brings a different experience into their sessions. My life is not the same as yours, yet I can hold the right kind of safe and empathetic space for your life experiences. I know what it’s like to suffer the anxiety that comes with being “different,” getting stuck in relationships that don’t feel “right,” and finding yourself in mid-life without a real sense of purpose. My life has served up many challenging events like chronic health problems, financial instability, complex childhood trauma and ongoing family judgment, and many other issues.
Additionally, I know what it’s like to wrestle with spirituality and a lack of meaning in life. Throughout our lives, we have many experiences that don’t fit neatly into our worldview—how do we integrate them? What do these experiences teach us about ourselves? These are questions that inform my practice today.
Support for Your Breakthrough
If you’re ready to disrupt the patterns that have been holding you back, then you’re in the right place. My coaching practice is designed to do just that—help you access new possibilities and get to the core of who you are and what you’re capable of.
I use a dynamic blend of techniques tailored to your needs, with Internal Family Systems (IFS) at the core. IFS is a revolutionary approach to engaging every part of yourself—not as something to be fixed, but as something to be understood, healed, and harnessed. I’m here to help you uncover and unburden your parts, allowing you to access the full power that’s been lying dormant within you.
But we don’t stop there. Your body is the key to unlocking this power. Through somatic practices, I’ll guide you in reconnecting with your embodied emotional and intuitive self—listening to the wisdom it offers and offering back attention and care. And then there’s nature—wild, untamed, and full of wisdom. My contemplative forest walks aren’t just about finding peace; they’re about tapping into the ungoverned intuitive creative power of the natural world and letting it remind you of what and who you really are.
My work also addresses collective trauma and grief—alleviating the burdens we carry as systemic injustices and unresolved histories ripple through our lives. Drawing from systems theory, I understand that healing ourselves is a crucial step in healing the larger systems we are a part of. In our work together, we’ll explore how your personal healing and growth contribute to larger systems change. By reclaiming your power, understanding your place within the broader community, and taking intentional action, you’ll not only transform your own life but also begin to impact the collective. Healing is an act of service—not just to yourself, but to the world you’re helping to create, one that is more just, vibrant, and whole.
Who I Am And What I Have To Offer
Additionally, I incorporate somatic and body-based practices into my approach. The body is the storehouse of trauma, anxiety, depression, and many other ills. Paying attention to our bodies can help us learn more about who we are and why we feel the way we do. Starting with grounding practices like meditation and focused breathwork, you can become more in touch with your body and learn to really hear the messages your body is giving you.
In my practice today, all experiences and all forms of growth are welcome. I strive to give clients a safe container to explore the questions that keep reoccurring to them, such as: What if I said yes to my authentic needs? Could I ever really love my body? Can my parents accept me for who I am? Along the way, I can walk with you and help you uncover your own answers.
